Dear Officers, Past Presidents, & Members,
I apologize for the delay of my letter to the DMA membership, but with the hurricane in Texas I felt it more appropriate to focus on the safety and needs of our Chapter 3 members. I am glad to say they are safe, but many have much to rebuild. In light of the devastation in Texas, DMA has started a hurricane fund to help our family members in Chapter 3. Anyone wishing to help may send a check to DMA and in the check memo put Hurricane Fund or Harvey Fund. All proceeds will go to helping Chapter 3 members.
Please make checks payable to DMA and send payment to Charleen Locascio

To our Florida Family as Irma comes closer to you, stay safe and please keep in touch so we know you are all safe and well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those in Texas and Florida.
Even though we have been off to a rough start of the dance season I am in such awe of this DMA family. Those dance families that were in need in the past were some of the first to step up to the plate to want to help those in Texas. DMA is so much more than just a Dance Organization it truly is a family, that I am so proud to be a part of. I will keep you all updated as I know what the needs are for those in Texas and Florida.
Much Love,
Laura Y. Work
